Job description

As a Supply Chain Engineer / Planner at B&S Technology B.V. you are in the middle of the organization and together with your future colleague you are responsible for the management of the large diversity of customer orders, planning and follow-up towards customers.

Hereby you take into account the material supplies, production capacities and production progress of 2 locations, outsourcing with external surface finishers, and you identify delays in time to take adequate action. With this you facilitate an optimal and effective production process. You work together with your colleague planner and other disciplines within both sites and you maintain contacts with customers and suppliers. Your work does not only take place at your desk but you are also frequently to be found on the production floor to see if the planning is realized in the right way.

A selection of your activities:

• Creating production planning in ERP for prototype and series production.
• Providing insight into alternatives in production to meet the set delivery dates.
• Monitoring the progress of production and adjusting the planning where necessary.
• Providing proactive feedback on progress and deviations in the planning to customers.
• You advise sales and management regarding planning and delivery dates of new projects and prospects.
• Sparring partner for management and production management on the sharpening of QLTC strategy and setting priorities.

NPI Engineer / job planner (HBO) – fulltime

A dynamic and varied job, in which you as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer / Work Planner in a high-tech environment work closely with customers and colleagues from production, supply chain management, engineering and sales. You will design and coordinate the manufacturing strategy of new fine mechanical mono products and complete assemblies for prototype production and/or medium series. And in doing so, work with diverse materials and the smallest details, down to the level of just 1 micrometer.

• Determining the best manufacturing strategy for new products through machining operations, surface treatments to (clean room) assembly and quality assurance;
• Technical design and assurance of the production process for new products, with corresponding specifications, instructions and control plan;
• Drawing up production TPD and work instructions based on the supplied customer TPD.
• Giving feedback on the manufacturability of products at an early stage of the customer request. Where necessary supported by doing feasibility study(s);
• Coordinate technical production of new products.
• Prepare and work out for production orders in ERP (ISAH)
• Consult with sales, engineers, production specialists and planning
• Daily communication and feedback with customers and various disciplines within the company.
• Thinking along within improvement team(s) and thus bringing the entire business process to a higher level

Job requirements

• A completed college degree (HBO) in mechanical engineering towards production engineering (pre)
• Versatile with an affinity for precision machining techniques
• Eye for detail and passion for precision

• Before your work begins, you need to change into the specific clean room outfit.
• Clean and dustproof precision metal and plastic parts according to established cleaning protocols of our customers in the semiconductor and medical industry (e.g. grade 4, grade 2 cleaning) in the dedicated in-house cleaning equipment.
• After dust removal, visually inspect the parts using UV lamp and other inspection tools
• Packing the parts dust-free, marking and registering product relevant information in our ERP system.
• Transferring the product to our colleagues in the tool shop for further assembly in the final assembly.
• Offering mono parts and final assembly, after they are dust-free packed and registered, to expedition for shipment to customers.
• Set and control parameters of the cleaning equipment (baths, ovens, sealers) and cleanroom according to work instructions.
• Daily communication and feedback with various disciplines within the company.
• Thinking along within improvement team(s) and thus bringing the entire business process to a higher level

CNC miller / programmer

As a CNC Milling Specialist at B&S Technology B.V., you are responsible for milling fine mechanical prototypes, products and assemblies for single piece production and/or medium-sized series. You can set up and operate three- and/or five-axis machining centers. For this position we are looking for someone who can work independently and can think solution-oriented. • A relevant education at least MBO-3 level or equivalent
• You can read technical drawings
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail
• You have at least 3 years of experience with 3-axis milling (5-axis milling is an advantage)
• You have extensive knowledge of tools
• Experience with CAM programming is an advantage
• You are willing to work in two shifts
